Digital Hub Denmark is a non-profit organisation promoting Denmark as a leading digital nation by showcasing home-grown digital solutions and connecting tech startups with international customers and investors. The new visitor centre aims to offer a dedicated space for visitors to learn more about the unique Danish approach to digital solutions. Yoke was asked to join the design team as the digital media partner responsible for all interactive experiences.
The experiences were developed to incorporate the Danish values - human-centric, democratic, collaborative - in the design. The result was a touch-free exhibition concept, where clicks and swipes have been eliminated and replaced with a bodily interaction that allows the visitors to interact with the content simply with their presence. In order to complement the installations and emphasise the human-centred approach, all surfaces were covered in mirrors.
