Yoke has crafted an engaging interactive installation, showcasing the intricate synergy between electricity and heat production at the Ørsted Avedøre Power Station.
Situated in Avedøre Holme, just south of Copenhagen, the Power Station stands as a global exemplar of energy efficiency, particularly in combined heat and power (CHP) generation. Yoke undertook the mission of fashioning an immersive experience that would seamlessly connect users with the essence of the Ørsted brand. In response, Yoke conceived an interactive visualization, presenting the production of electricity and heat in a vibrant, approachable manner.
The centerpiece of this creation is a four-meter-wide wall, transformed into a canvas for projection mapping. A simple touch on different sections of the wall triggers dynamic animations and informative graphics. By melding digital design with tactile interaction, this media installation invites visitors to unravel the intricacies of power station production processes. Remarkably, this installation accommodates varying levels of learning, making it suitable for both educators and curious visitors alike.
